Project Brief
This project was an app redesign for an existing film-photo developing app. The objectives were to create a sense of cohesion across the application, add an area to make in-app purchases, and to add minor social-networking components. Ultimately the goal was to make the user-flow of each task more manageable and intuitive.
Identified Solution
The indisposable app redesign introduces an upgraded layout, color scheme, and familiar call-to-action user-flows for customers to easily view, edit, share and customize their developed film reels. A main feature upgrade is the multi-view organization component, giving users more options to browse and organize their photo albums.
Personas
Personas were developed based on existing customers’ needs & use-cases, as well as potential new customers within the demographics of the target audience.
Each persona was marked by a difference and specific need, whether it be ease-of-use, organizational capabilities, or a more intuitive and streamlined task-flow.
Wireframes
Wireframes were created to focus on organizational structure and varied options for viewing using a tab-based interface.
Additionally, native-based functions were tested against in-app buttons and calls to action.
Upgraded features
Cleaner interface with a variety of organizational and
sort-by settings
Identifiable work-flow solutions
